I had the pleasure of meeting John’s parents, Jeanne and Jack. They live in Juneau. Jack told me lots of enthralling stories about hunting, flying, fire fighting and trick playing as we four navigated the hospital system with Jeanne. Apparently many AK people fly into Seattle for second opinions, procedures, operations, etc and the hotel is set up to accommodate that, almost like an extension of the hospital. For all the vampire fans out there, a picture of a facility just a block away. True blood!
