I got my hair done, did a couple of loads of laundry and found a decent internet connection to upload pictures for the blog. I drove by an empty lot in the city, growing, that's right, you guessed it, Illegal Substances, right under everyone's noses! :) But those giant poppies sure are beautiful, aren't they?
what are those? If I still lived in DeLand my less than legal compatriots (legalities weren't even the beginnings of my worries for them) I could ask them but I am the ignorant on this topic. Although!
ReplyDeleteI once asked Hamilton about herbs to add to tea at my friends restaurant and he recommended this crazy hallucinogenic book... One of these days I'm sure I'll read it.
From what I understand, if a person decocts the dried seed heads of the giant poppies, and drinks it, and throws up a couple of times, there is subsequetnly a real possibility of being high for the rest of the (three day?) weekend. Never done it, mind you, I just know about it! If you google, you'll get detailed instructions and descriptions. Yay internet! ;) I just don't have the Kidneys left for that sort of thing any more!!
